My name is William Sniadecki . I am running for South Bend School Board. I was on the board for 12 years. My last year was in 2015. I can’t believe what has happened to our schools in the last twelve years. I can’t believe the Superintendent and Board keep closing our successful schools and raising everyone’s taxes, unbelievable. 

Jeanette McCullough (at large) and Mark  Costello (dist..2) are the only board members that are worthy of being on this board. They are asking the right questions for the kids and our taxpayers. They usually are being ignored by the Superintendent and the other 5 Board members. It is not too late to reverse the damage that’s been done but it has to be done “NOW”. It is up to the voter of St Joe County in Nov. election to change this backward trend of destroying our kids education and ripping off taxpayers for their personal gain.   

We, as citizens of this community, need to take back control of our schools and quit closing our successful schools and putting the tax dollars where they are suppose to go instead of in their pockets. Win or lose in Nov. election, I will be proud to serve on this committee. If elected I will never vote to close schools or raise taxes. Kids’ education will always be my first priority along with teachers, and support staff such as social workers, maintenance, food services and transportation.

It is so important that all these services work in harmony to be successful and stop sending our tax dollars out of state to run these services. It needs to be run by our citizens.
